PENINGKATAN PERTUMBUHAN DAN PERKEMBANGAN CABAI MERAH (Capsicum annum L) DENGAN SAMBUNG PUCUK (GRAFTING)

<p>Grafting with cayenne pepper rootstock (<em>Capsicum frutescens</em> L.) and red chili scion annum</em> L) can be used to improve the quality of plants. This study aims determine growth development plants from shoot grafting. The was carried out 3 treatments, namely kontrol (without grafting) (M<sub>o</sub>), treatment 1 (X<sub>1</sub>) fighting main stem 2 (X<sub>2</sub>) grafting branches. Each repeated 5 times. results showed that highest number leaves obtained in treatment, flowers fruits X<sub>2</sub> treatment. It concluded entries first branch resulted best development.
